The inbox links to your number by QR code, the same way WhatsApp Web does. This is not an official WhatsApp product, and WhatsApp can limit or ban numbers that break its rules. You accepted a short note about this when you linked your number. Most businesses never have a problem. These habits keep it that way:

Only reply to people who wrote to you

The inbox can’t start new chats with customers, on purpose.

No bulk or promotional messages

Don’t send broadcasts or offers from this number with any other tool either.

Keep replies personal and useful

Many customers blocking or reporting a number is the quickest way to a ban.

Keep the phone in use

Open WhatsApp on the phone at least once every 14 days, or the link drops off.
The inbox also waits a moment between messages it sends, so your number never looks like it’s sending in bulk.
