# Connect Shopify

> See your customers' Shopify orders next to their chats.

Shopify is optional, and included in the Growth and Pro plans. Connecting needs an **admin** of your inbox, and someone who can approve apps in your Shopify store.

## The quick way: an install link

oneCommerce makes a small Shopify app for your store and sends you an **install link**.

**1. Log in to both**

Make sure you're logged in to your inbox and to your Shopify admin in the same browser.

**2. Open the link**

Open the install link we sent you. Check the permissions Shopify shows and tap **Install**.

**3. Done**

You come back to your inbox, connected. Nothing to copy or paste.

You can also start from the inbox: your initials → **Shopify**, type your store address (`yourstore.myshopify.com`) and tap **Connect Shopify**.

>
> Use your **myshopify.com** address (you'll find it in Shopify admin → Settings → Domains), not your shop's own web address.

## Why the permissions

The app asks Shopify for permission to **read** orders, customers, deliveries and products, so the inbox can show them next to chats. It asks to **change** orders only so admins can cancel and refund from the inbox, and that stays switched off until an admin turns it on. [Cancel and refund](/shopify/cancel-and-refund.md)

## Disconnecting

Your initials → **Shopify** → **Disconnect**. Orders stop showing next to chats until you connect again. You can also remove the app in Shopify admin → Apps.
