# WhatsApp groups

> Handle chosen WhatsApp groups together, right in the inbox.

If your business talks to dealers, distributors or customers in WhatsApp groups, your team can read and reply to those groups in the inbox, just like one-to-one chats.

> WhatsApp groups come with the **Growth** and **Pro** plans.

## Switch groups on (admins)

1. Tap your initials, then **WhatsApp groups**.
2. Tick **Show WhatsApp groups in the inbox**.
3. You see every group your WhatsApp number is in. Tick the groups your team should handle.

Only the groups you tick come into the inbox, and only new messages from the moment you tick them. Personal or family groups on the business phone stay on the phone.

If a new group is missing from the list, tap **Refresh list**. Untick a group to take it out of the inbox again.

## Inside a group

* Each message shows **who wrote it**, with one colour per person.
* Under the group's name you see how many members it has. Tap it to see who is in the group.
* **Reply in group** sends your message to everyone in the group.
* Type **@** in your reply to mention someone. Their phone highlights the mention.
* Your reply shows **✓** once it's sent, **✓✓** once members have it, and blue **✓✓** once everyone in the group has read it.
* Notes, labels, the owner and **Close** work the same as in any chat. When a closed group gets a new message, it opens again for the same owner.

Find all your groups with the **👥 Groups** filter at the top of the chat list.

## Notifications from groups

Busy groups can get a lot of messages, so a group only sends a notification when someone mentions your number or replies to one of your team's messages. New messages still show in the inbox as usual.

Groups are not counted in your reply-time reports.
