# Use it on your phone

> Install the inbox as an app and get notifications.

The inbox works in any browser. On a phone, install it as an app so it opens full screen and can send you notifications.

**iPhone**

1. Open your inbox in **Safari**.
2. Tap **Share** → **Add to Home Screen**.
3. From now on, open it from that icon.

**Android**

1. Open your inbox in **Chrome**.
2. Tap your initials → **Install as an app on this device** (or Chrome's **⋮** → **Install app**).

## Turn on notifications

Tap your initials → **Turn on notifications**, and allow them when asked. You'll be told about:

* new messages in chats you own,
* someone tagging you in a note,
* chats flagged 🚩 Urgent (owners and admins),
* a WhatsApp number dropping off (admins).

>
> On a phone, the keyboard's **Enter** makes a new line. Only the **Send** button sends, so you won't send half a message by accident.
